While everybody lurks at the incredible success of data analysis, only a few mention an at least equally crucial challenge – securing your data as good as possible from the hacking by malevolent third parties. This includes interests of persons or companies as well as official public institutions. While the art of analyzing data has reached nearly iconic status among Media, Business and Marketing Chiefs, the issue of Security is less well represented, perhaps due to a more complicated technical environment that comes with security problems, and perhaps security doubts are an inherently unpleasent annoyance for the data hysteria that covers most Tech magazines and Business reviews.
