TED (and our remorse)
As we became aware recently the wonderful and much appreciated website of TED uses the same slogan as we do: Ideas worth spreading. Well, it seems we had the same idea and are now loaded with remorse and fears of copyright infringement. If TED ever claims intellectual property on their slogan we definitely have to fight for our ideas (worth spreading). But irony apart, we are proud to be a (very very small) brother of this wonderful project.
In the meantime, we are aware of the thin ice we are building our title on, and if we are going to become bigger, better and smarter we definitely will share the incomes with TED (or at least some of our ideas).
And by the way, it took TED some years to grow from 1984 to now. So maybe in some years we are going to contribute something in persona in Long Beach or Palm Springs for their annual conferences. It would be a great honour!
And as we are also working on uncovering human related phenomena, here is a great talk from TED that illustrates the optical challenges during our worldly operations:
Beau Lotto: Optical illusions show how we see
